I have a programming project, probably fairly simple for someone who
knows how to do it:)

I am trying to start an multimedia/ebook publishing company. I need a
very inexpensive way of producing

scrolling text

synchronized with voice

with images or text popping up somewhere when certain parts of the text
are reached.

For starters, this application would work on a computer or laptop,
pc-compatible.

The target buyer would be schools.

I think I can sell this application if someone can help set up the way
to implement it.

I don't have any money, so am interested in forming a partnership with
someone who has enough expertise to create the software.

I'm sure there are people who would be interested in doing this. How
can I contact them?

I love it when people want "fairly simple" simple for next to nothing.

It's stuff like this that made me give up developing software for others and
open my own successful e-commerce.

Here's some advice: It's an insult when you tell others how simple something
is when you cannot do it yourself. Don't approach a programmer like that. In
fact, don't approach anyone whose skill you need like that.

Why not just do it in html format?

LOL. PT Barnum said... LOL! OK, kids, Business 101:

1. Being able to produce the product or service the company offers, IS
the company. Everything else is glorified secretarial work. Deal with it
if you only have an MBA (you secretary!).

If all you have is MBA-type knowledge, you'd be better off buying a
lotto ticket than trying to get people of substance to sacrifice their value
to you.

Remember: if you have nothing to sell, you have nothing to sell (!).
People of substance don't work for/with people without any.
