Anyone have any recommendations of health insurance companies for businesses?

The health insurance is needed for a company that will have essentially
nightclubs in several US states (Florida, Georgia, Nevada, and Texas
to start) and executives that will travel not only in the US but world-
wide. Health, dental, the whole works. Solid insurance for the
nightclub staff and top-tier / international coverage for the
executives. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately our impression so far has been largely that they're mostly
not great and that it's only worth getting much into the details if
there are specific conditions that current employees have that are worth
checking for in the coverage. So we largely leave it to our insurance
broker to figure out. Ours is currently through WellPoint and they're
not bad; the vision coverage we got is mediocre but not enough to make
me look into why (my vision's good and no employees have complained!).

One thing to consider is if you want to go for a high deductible and
contribute into employee HSAs, or do something more traditional.

I don't know anything about the worldwide angle, though.

One thing that some businesses I've talked to have found is that they
can get some good discounts on this kind of thing through their local
chamber of commerce.

Dental's been the trickiest for us to find anything worthwhile for. I
did talk to one business owner who was happy with United Concordia but
haven't pursued that further.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
