I recently had to refuse business from a prospect whose company is
based on the meat slaughtering industry while I am a vegetarian. I
then recently read about some Muslim Cab drivers who refused
passengers who had to transport alchohol . It seemed the cab drivers
were forced by law to take these passengers even though it was against
their ethics. Does a business owner had the right to refuse to do
business with whoever violates their sense of ethics?

As the business owner, you have the right to pick and choose
which jobs you want to take on, so long as you are not picking
based on protected classes. The cab drivers, however, are
licensed by the city to provide a predetermined service. When
they fail to provide that service, they are in violation of
their license, and deserve to have that license revoked.
