Anyone have a recommendation for bookkeeping software? I'll be for a
barbershop, just a few employees . . . For the past year I've been doing it
all on paper. Now I've got a shiny new computer, may as well keep the
books on it . . .

Thanks,

Frankly they all seem a bit rubbish IMLE. (-: The Quickbooks, etc. stuff
seems popular. We're using Peachtree which is quite capable and only
slightly buggy. Talk to your accountant to see what's convenient for
them, too? It can be handy if you have someone around to answer your
questions and it's easy for you to schlep data files around, so we tried
to pick something that our accountant could easily work with.

Quick Books is a popular one, but I hate they way they are
so proprietary. I'll never buy their software again.

Your best source of advice on this is your accountant.
