Is there a better newsgroup for mergers and acquisitions questions?

discussions _about_ consulting - posts that seek consulting help should be
posted elsewhere, such as mbm. -JimL ]

Hi There--

I've just landed a client that will, if I'm careful and smart and
patient, put the company I'm building in a good position to be sold
eventually. I typed in 'mergers and acquisitions' into the groups'
search engine and this is the only newsgroup that appeared likely to
have reasonable people to ask my questions about how to grow my
business (unless I want to use paypal to make millions or have my
websit done cheap cheap cheap by someone who can't spell 'website').
I'm looking for a profile to aim for and I wanted to see what
discussions were around usenet on the topic. I'm trying to do
preliminary research.

Just messing about getting my feet wet, accumulating vocabulary,
introducing myself to ideas. . . dreaming a bit.

What I'm not looking to do is prevail on you good people for free
management consulting, but if you know of a newsgroup (s) or other
online resources that I should be looking at, could you please point me
there?

I'm at this wonderful turning point in this business and I'm all starry
eyed and full of energy and I want to do as much research as I can.

Meanwhile, I wish you all a great week.

Thanks,

Lee

Since your question is so broad, it is impossible to give you an answer to a
specific business question. So please go to the free, no strings attached,
no come-ons, online Intensive Entrepreneurial Training developed for the
California Colleges some years ago to stimulate business development,
success and wealth creation. www.pueblaprotocol.com

Skim the material and come back to this forum with specific questions. There
are many talented people here willing to give you what you need to succeed.
