Submitting a change of address to the state for tax and record keeping
purposes has been easy. However, even after searching Google and the
US govt web site I am only getting more forms to submit for various
states. When a business changes physical locations, what forms do we
submit for a change of address to the U.S. federal government?

Businesses are, generally speaking, legal entities under state, rather
than Federal, law. That's why state-level filings are most prevalent.

Fortunately or not, the US government is not monolithic in its
trascking of addresses and contact information. It is necessary to
contact each US agency with which your business does business to
process a change of address.

The IRS is probably at or near the top of the list. You can notify
them of change of address at any time, but I believe you could choose
to wait (without penalty) until your business's next tax filing.
